Ambien.

Ambien (zolpidem) helps you improve the sleep patterns treating insomnia. Your insomnia can be treated after 7-10 days of taking Ambien, this period being different for different people. Make sure you call your health care provider if your sleep patterns do not improve and your condition gets worse after taking Ambien to see if any changes need to be made. Tell your doctor if you develop any serious side effects that can mean your treatment is not going quite as planned, such as confusion, difficulty breathing, blurred vision, vomiting, suicidal thoughts, difficulty concentrating, pounding heartbeat, shortness of breath, or worsening depression. There is no need to report some minor side effects you may get, as they tend to go away on their own without any need for your doctor's interference. The following mild side effects are most common: diarrhea, headache, dry mouth, heartburn, dizziness, eye redness, changes in appetite, drowsiness, constipation, gas, stomach pain, muscle aches, and weakness. Report a pregnancy to your health care provider before starting the treatment – as this is the factor that can make your doctor advise you to postpone the treatment.
